What is Reconciliation?
Reconciliation, also called Confession, is the sacrament in which sins are confessed and absolution is given through the ministry of the priest.
When is Confession available?
Confession may be available before Mass or by arrangement. Please check the bulletin or contact the Parish Office.
How to prepare
It is helpful to spend a little time in prayer and reflection before Confession, asking God for honesty, sorrow and the grace to begin again.
The sacrament
The priest listens, offers guidance where helpful, gives absolution and invites the person to complete a penance.
