Planning your wedding

Couples wishing to marry in the parish should contact the Parish Office at least six months before the proposed date.

Church requirements

The parish will guide couples through the Church paperwork, required certificates and preparation process.

Civil requirements

Couples are also responsible for completing civil marriage requirements with the Registrar.

Wedding liturgy

The priest will help the couple prepare the ceremony, including readings, music, prayers and practical arrangements for the church.

Do we need a marriage preparation course?

Yes. Couples are normally required to complete an approved marriage preparation course.
