What is Anointing of the Sick?
Anointing of the Sick is offered to those who are seriously ill, elderly, frail or preparing for significant medical treatment.
When should it be requested?
It should not be delayed until the final moments of life. The sacrament brings comfort, strength and peace during illness.
Hospital and home visits
If someone is in hospital, a nursing home or confined to home, please contact the Parish Office so that a visit can be arranged.
In urgent situations
In urgent situations, please contact the priest directly or through the Parish Office as soon as possible.

No. It is for serious illness, frailty or significant medical need.
Can someone receive it more than once?
Yes. The sacrament may be received again if illness worsens or a new serious condition arises.
