Sponsors

Each candidate chooses a sponsor who is a confirmed, practising Catholic and who can support them in the life of faith.

The celebration

Confirmation is usually celebrated by the Bishop or his delegate. Families, teachers and parishioners gather to support the candidates in prayer.

Frequently asked
